A Community-Led
Movement
for Accountable
Local Government

MEET THE
CANDIDATES

Change Huntertown Now is represented by four local residents running for Huntertown Town Council. Each candidate brings a strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and responsible decision-making.

Chad Wright

Chad Wright is a local business leader with decades of experience managing growth, budgets, and long-term planning. He brings a disciplined, data-driven approach to solving Huntertown’s infrastructure and water issues, with a focus on fiscal responsibility and decisions that impact residents’ daily lives.

Bob Buescher

Bob Buescher is a longtime business owner with nearly 50 years of experience built on common sense, integrity, and accountability. He is running to fix Huntertown’s water and infrastructure challenges, protect taxpayers, and support smart growth that keeps the community safe, affordable, and strong.

Gary Grant

Gary Grant is a lifelong Huntertown resident and former Town Council member who is stepping forward again to serve his community. After years of watching decisions drift away from the town he raised his family in, Gary is focused on honest leadership, transparency, and direct problem-solving that puts Huntertown back on the right path.

Brittany Kindler

Brittany Kindler is a Huntertown resident and mother of two young boys who is deeply rooted in Northeast Indiana. She has lived in Huntertown for five years and values the strong sense of community, neighborly connection, and shared pride that define the town. A graduate of Bishop Dwenger High School, she later earned her bachelor’s degree from IPFW. Her education and life experience have shaped her commitment to integrity, hard work, accountability, and a thoughtful approach rooted in listening before leading. She is committed to serving Huntertown with transparency, responsibility, and a long term focus on what is best for local families.

Brandon Seifert

Brandon’s connection to Huntertown runs deep. After World War II, his grandparents made Huntertown their home, and in the 1970s his grandfather and father founded Seifert and Son Excavation—a business rooted in hard work and community pride. Like the generations before him, Brandon is focused on giving back and supporting the next generation that will help grow our town and local economy. He was elected to town council in 2014 and again in 2022, and is now running for a third term. He also helped create the Redevelopment Commission in 2019 and has served as its President since. He has supported trail connectivity, working with Fort Wayne Trails to complete the town’s portion of the Pufferbelly Trail and advance pedestrian bridge connections.

WHY CHANGE
IS NEEDED

Huntertown has grown to more than 12,000 residents, with thousands of new families choosing to call this community home. Growth like that requires careful planning and responsible leadership. Instead, residents have seen:
These are not partisan concerns. They are kitchen-table issues that affect taxes, housing costs, and the future of the town. Change Huntertown Now was formed by residents who believe Huntertown deserves better decision-making and real accountability from its local government.

OUR MISSION

Change Huntertown Now is a coordinated community effort focused on fixing systemic problems, not protecting a broken process. Our mission is to:
This is about changing how Huntertown is governed, not just who holds office.

WHAT WE STAND FOR

Transparency

Residents deserve to know how decisions are made, how much they cost, and why alternatives are accepted or rejected. Open meetings, clear communication, and public accountability must be the standard — not the exception.

Water Quality

Huntertown residents require filtering and softening equipment costing thousands just to use and drink Huntertown water. Poor water quality is the result of long term negligence by the Town Council. It is time for better water at a reasonable price!

Quality of Place

With new leadership, Huntertown can be a family-friendly community, with a town center, family-friendly parks, and walkable streets. It is time for new leadership and a new vision.

The Future of Huntertown

Huntertown’s future depends on leadership willing to ask hard questions, compare real alternatives, and slow down before committing millions of dollars. We believe the town can:

  • Plan growth without creating water shortages
  • Invest wisely without overburdening taxpayers
  • Support development without sacrificing affordability
  • Restore trust between residents and Town Council

  • Change Huntertown Now exists to help make that future possible.
